Sometimes, the birth world feels pretty polarizing. You can have a hospital birth with lots of medication and impatient doctors, or you can have a natural childbirth in a home attended by midwives and forest creatures. There doesn’t seem to be an in-between. This is where Dallas Midwife Associates comes in. This fabulous practice gives you plenty of options for your hospital birth. If you’ve been wanting a birth in a hospital setting while still having control of your labor, I’d love to tell you why this practice is right for you!

About Dallas Midwife Associates – Midwife + Co.

Since its beginning, Dallas Midwife Associates has been here to give parents a fierce advocate for their births. They started out in 2013 by establishing the Fort Worth Birthing & Wellness Center before adding Dallas Midwife Associates in 2018.

Just a few years later, they added Fort Worth Midwife Associates and Mansfield Midwife Associates. They went under a rebrand in 2022 and can now be found under Midwife + Co. You’ll still find the same great midwives under a brand-new name.

Dallas Midwife Associates deliver at Texas Health Mansfield, Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth, and Baylor University Medical Center. The practice operates out of four offices, so you’re never too far from premium help!

Services

At Dallas Midwife Associates, the professionals believe that parents should have support to labor in the way that’s best for them. During each of your regular appointments, your midwife will take the time to ensure you have all the evidence you need to make informed decisions.

They’ll provide you with lab work and ultrasounds within their cozy offices. You’ll work together to make a birth plan, and once labor starts, they will ensure it is enforced as much as possible! Your midwife and birth team will be by your side, providing unwavering support.

You’ll continue to receive care after your baby is born. You’ll get a visit in the hospital from your midwife between 24-48 hours after birth and a visit or call one week postpartum. Additionally, you’ll also have a check-up at two and six weeks to ensure recovery is going as expected.

Specialty

Dallas Midwife Associates can provide extraordinary care even if you’re not expecting any time soon. They understand that regular well-woman visits are…well…less than comfortable. They’re here to make it a little bit easier! You’ll get a warm cloth gown and be in a place where you’ll feel safe. The midwives are compassionate and discrete. They can help you with family planning, contraception, regular exams, and more.
