About Lovers Lane Birth Center

Dallas local Krystal Brown started Lovers Lane Birth Center. Services

Lovers Lane Birth Center provides comprehensive care from the very beginning of your pregnancy. You’ll visit your midwife for up to an hour to check your progress. These appointments are incredibly informative, and you’ll leave feeling confident. You’ll discuss nutrition, birth plans, and preferences. Toward the end of pregnancy, they’ll make sure you feel prepared for your delivery.

The birth center is warm and cozy, with large beds and modern decorations. If you’d prefer, you can opt for a water birth. Following labor, you’ll be given the chance to bond with your baby for as long as you’d like. You’ll leave following the initial breastfeeding, but you won’t feel rushed at any point. You’ll have a postpartum appointment 2-3 days following delivery, where your midwife will ask questions, perform an evaluation, and ensure you’re on the road to recovery!

Lovers Lane works with an independent contractor to provide placenta encapsulation, should you choose it. This process can provide benefits such as more energy, increased milk supply, and quicker postpartum recovery. The contractor uses the Traditional Chinese Method and will provide you with easily available capsules.
